a diamond and a tether.

Well, this is my first attempt at a blog so hopefully it's not too pathetic.

The title is the name of a Death Cab song (It's quite a sad song, really). I got the Open Door [EP] cd from Griffin for my birthday and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. ^^

Today I was greatly inspired to live romantically. I'm not just talking of love and your typical view of romance, but rather fancifully and well, impractically, to put it bluntly. I've started a list of sorts with things that I see as romantic, I suppose. I may post them later. All this talk of romance has been influenced by a TV series (7 hours long O_o) Danielle and I just finished. It's a Charles Dickens story called Little Dorrit, adapted by BBC. It was quite fabulous (said like Mrs. Ruge, "fa-boo-luss." hehe ^^)

In the afternoon Danielle and I went to the bank to do the deposits and afterwards we went to Barnes & Noble to spend a gift card I got from Hannah for my birthday. I cannot express how much I love that store. I do think that I could live there. They have a café and couches, so I think I could live quite comfortably. Anyways, I bought Little Dorrit (expanding my borders, I know) and The Scarlet Pimpernel. I'm looking forward to reading them. ^^ Little Dorrit is quite fat, so it should take me a while. And I love the pages. They're quite floppy. When you open it to the middle, the book stays open.

Well enough for tonight.

Goodnight moon.
